The first presidential debate was clearly a family affair as the candidates' families sat front-and-center for the showdown at Hofstra University Monday.

Donald Trump's nearest and dearest were seated in the front row. Melania Trump wore an off-the-shoulder black gown by designer Roland Mouret that sells for $2,645.
She was seated next to Ivanka Trump and Mike Pence, Donald Trump's running mate.
Following the spectacle, Donald Trump Jr. told Inside Edition that his dad "showed a lot of restraint, I think that was really important for the American people to see. I think it was a great debate."
Tiffany Trump, who has been seldom seen on the campaign trail, shook hands with Bill Clinton prior to the debate.
The former president was seated with daughter Chelsea and her husband, Mark Mezvinsky.

Donald Trump spoke to Inside Edition in the spin room following the debates. He said: “I think I did really well, everyone is indicating I did really well. I am very happy about it.”
