Katy Perry Sheds Her Clothes to Boost Voter Turnout: 'Let Those Babies Loose'

The "Firework" singer teamed up with FunnyOrDie.com to spread the message.

Katy Perry is setting off some "fireworks" with a mock ad where she strips down in an effort to get out the vote.

In a video posted to Funny or Die, the pop star is seen waking up out of bed in pajamas and dirty hair, telling viewers: “You can look like s*** when you vote.”

The “Firework” singer added: "I’ve briefly scanned the constitution and nowhere does it say that you can't just roll out of bed and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in."

She then walked into a voting hall and declared: "I sleep naked. Let those babies loose."

In the spoof video to raise awareness about voting on November 8, she was hauled away by police and put in a patrol car with a naked Joel McHale, the former host of The Soup.

Perry, who supports Hillary Clinton, finally admitted in the video “you need to wear clothes” when you vote, but looks do not matter.

The video was put on the website Tuesday morning following the debates.
