Jacob Hall was the lone casualty in last week's shooting in Townville.
The little boy who was fatally shot in last week's South Carolina school shooting will get final rites fit for a superhero.
The funeral for Jacob Hall, who couldn't be saved in the days after Tuesday's shooting in Townville despite valiant medical efforts, is slated for Wednesday.

But instead of a somber ceremony, Jacob's family has decided to make the day as full of life as the boy was.
"I don’t want suits and ties and all that," Renae Hall, Jacob’s mother, told WHNS-TV. "There will be a lot of children there and I don’t want it to be scary for them."
Instead, attendees are encouraged to wear superhero outfits and pall bearers will also be in costume.
Jacob had been clinging to life in intensive care at Greenville Memorial Hospital and died just after 1 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.
Jacob was shot in the leg Wednesday, ripping open his femoral artery, while he and his classmates were going to recess.
He lost so much blood that he sustained a serious brain injury.
"Jacob was an angel that was brought to this earth to show love, to show kindness, and to show forgiveness. Jacob never had a bad intention ever in his body," Renae Hall said in a press conference.

A teacher and another 6-year-old boy were also shot, but did not sustain life-threatening injuries. A 14-year-old boy has been charged with shooting those two victims.
The teenager was initially charged with attempted murder in connection with Jacob Hall. That charge has since been upgraded to murder.
The unnamed minor has also been charged with murdering his own father shortly before allegedly opening fire at the school.
