The Volkswagen Super Bowl commercial of a young Darth Vader is the big hit that everyone is talking about. INSIDE EDITION unmasks the young actor who's become an overnight sensation.
It's the Super Bowl commercial everybody's talking about—the tiny Darth Vader who can't find the "force" to make things happen, until he starts his dad's Volkswagen...or thinks he does!
The commerical is already a YouTube sensation, with more than 16 million hits. Now, meet the boy behind the mask!
At age 6, little Max Page is no stranger to the camera. Besides doing TV commercials, he's also appeared on The Young and the Restless.
INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked, "How much fun was it?"
Max said, "It was really fun!"
Max's mom, Jennifer, agrees, saying, "Those two days, everyone just laughed on the set!"
Max boldly said, "If the director doesn't have an idea in mind, you can just tell him."
"You give ideas to the director? That"s amazing," said Trent.
"I know," Max exclaimed.
Now brace yourself for a shock about the kid who brought the legendary Star Wars villain back into the limelight.
Trent asked, "You have never seen Star Wars?" Max shook his head 'no.'
"So you don't know who Darth Vader is?" asked Trent, surprised that Max didn't know the famous movie villian.
Max was born with a heart defect, and he actually has a pacemaker implanted in his little chest. The device allows him to play sports and goof around with his brother Ellison, just like any other kid.
