Man Drives Into In-N-Out Burger to Order Food During Low-Speed Police Chase

An Arizona man who was being pursued over an outstanding warrant reportedly wanted a bite to eat first.

Phoenix PD says a man took a detour through an In-N-Out burger drive-thru during a low speed chase Wednesday night and appeared to order food.

Josh Adkins reportedly had an outstanding warrant and did not stop for officers as they pursued him at about 10:30 p.m.

Instead, Adkins allegedly pulled through the drive-thru, taking several minutes, then left through the parking lot.

Without being stopped by police, Adkins then reportedly drove to a nearby neighborhood, where he pulled over at a home.

Adkins was arrested as he walked to a home's backyard, and surrendered.

The Phoenix man was booked for his outstanding warrant and on a charge of unlawful flight from law enforcement.
