People magazine’s annual pick for the "Sexiest Man Alive" has been revealed as former wrestler and action star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

People made the big reveal on its Instagram page Tuesday morning.
In his own post on the photo-sharing site, the world’s highest-paid actor said: “This just means I'm still up at 4am trainin' hard, takin' care of my babies, drivin' my pick up truck and tellin' a few dirty/nerdy jokes... extremely sexily of course.”
Johnson, whose latest film Moana — a Disney animated feature — hits theaters this week, thanked the People staff for picking him.
He added that “sexy isn't something you "try and be". Sexy happens naturally when you're comfortable just being yourself.”
The 44-year-old father of two may also be mulling the idea of a run for president in 2020.
In the past, fans have asked him to pursue political office, and after the election of real estate mogul-turned-reality TV star Donald Trump, Johnson was asked about whether he would consider it.
“I wouldn't rule it out,” he told Vanity Fair over the weekend. It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen.”
In 2000, he spoke at the RNC to encourage young people to get out and vote. In March he tweeted “maybe one day” after an editorial in the Independent Journal Review argued why he should run.

In June, he wrote on Instagram: “The idea of one day becoming President to create real positive impact and global change is very alluring.”
