"He was very willing to do it with her and took it seriously," his wife, Jessica, told InsideEdition.com.

"Alison LOVED having him dance with her. You can see that in her smile," Jessica said.

Philip, an aircraft maintainer originally from Dallas, Texas, is clearly a contender for dad of the year.

"The other dads chose to do the tap dancing portion of the class instead but Philip dove right in [to ballet]," Jessica said. "She loves her daddy very much. They love spending time together."
