Sade Dixon, 24, was three months pregnant.
Police in Florida are hunting for a man they say shot to death his pregnant ex-girlfriend as she answered the door, reportedly firing as many as 10 times at the woman and her brother before fleeing.
Markeith DaMangzlo Loyd, 41, allegedly banged on the door of a Pine Hills area home, waiting for 24-year-old Sade Dixon to open the door of the Orlando home before opening fire at about 9 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
She was three months pregnant.
When Dixon’s 26-year-old brother, Ronald Steward, came to Dixon’s aid, Loyd allegedly shot him too, critically wounding the man, according to reports.
“It was like ‘pow, pow, pow, pow, pow,” neighbor Jim Baptiste told ClickOrlando.com, saying he heard 10 gunshots.
Steward, a mechanical engineer who went to the University of Florida, was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center and listed in critical condition.
He underwent surgery and is expected to survive.

Loyd fled and has not been seen since, police said. He is considered armed and dangerous, officials said.
Avid social media users, Loyd and Dixon often took to Facebook to share live videos and posts on his profile about the pregnancy and their relationship.
“Classic weekend, me and bae been together 24/7 I mean literally 24/7 as always … there’s no greater love and it only gets better with time … we will succeed,” a November 20 post read.
Eight days later, another status said: “It feels good to have him with me every single step of the way during this pregnancy, lord knows it's too much for just one person.”
But on Monday, Loyd posted: “All I want is the truth, could care less (sic)bout anything else … The TRUTH is what really matters cause the devil is a LIE ... Building a relationship off of truth can last a life time but ones built off of lies is headed for self-destruction.”
Later that day, he wrote that he didn’t have time for games or lies, posted: “I just want something that’s real!!!!!”

Early Tuesday, he live streamed from what appeared to be a strip club and then at 3:12 p.m., he wrote: “Time to power back up.”
It was the last post he shared before the alleged murder.
Dixon’s parents said at a news conference that they trust law enforcement to handle the situation and appealed to the community to not seek vengeance for their daughter, a mother to two boys, ages 8 and 2.
“We don't need [anybody] retaliating or making it real for the 'hood, because the 'hood [isn't] going to bring our child back," Dixon’s mother, Stephanie Dixon-Daniels, told reporters, according to WESH.
"It's just an emotional roller coaster at this time. It's all these grieving steps. Right now, I am just numb,” she said.
