The event was MC'd by Thicke's son, singer Robin Thicke.
About 150 close friends and family memorialized Alan Thicke at his Carpentaria, California, home Sunday.
His son, singer Robin Thicke, tried to keep things light.
“You look like Jackie O. right now,” he told his father's widow, Tanya.
A special eulogy came from some of Thicke's Growing Pains co-stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, who was front and center wearing a baseball cap pulled over his eyes.
The memorial included touching tributes from some of the late actor’s friends, including Jeopardy! host and fellow Canuck Alex Trebek and comedians Bob Saget and Bill Maher.
Alan's daughter-in-law, Dolly, posted a message on her Facebook page saying: “Tonight's memorial for Alan was just about perfect. So much family and so many historic friends came out to remember our beloved father-figure."
