A 5-year-old reported missing in Ohio was found dead in her family’s restaurant Tuesday and her parents have been charged in connection with her murder, according to reports.
Ashley Zhao allegedly disappeared Monday from Ang’s Asian Cuisine in North Canton and her parents reportedly told police the young girl went to lie down in the back of the restaurant at 4 p.m., but when her father went to check on her at 9 p.m. she was gone, according to reports.

But 24 hours later, police found her body "concealed" inside the restaurant, according to reports.
Police allege that the child’s mother Ming Ming Chen struck the child’s head “several times with a fist” on Monday morning and those injuries eventually resulted in her death.
Her father, Liang Zhao, allegedly saw that Ashley had "green fluid coming from her mouth.” and he took her into the restaurant bathroom, washed her face and saw that she had stopped breathing, Fox 8 reported.

Zhao allegedly performed CPR on her, but was unsuccessful, according to reports.
Chen has been charged with murder and felonious assault while Zhao is charged with complicity to murder and complicity to commit felonious assault, according to court documents.
The case remains under investigation.
