Lou, an elderly cat, was once considered unadoptable. According to the Lorca Animal Rescue in Spain, he had been at the shelter for a long time and was having trouble finding a family.
But when a woman adopted the feline for her 14-year-old daughter Laura, who has a rare blood disorder that also affects her neurological and physical development, it was obvious the pair was a match made in heaven.
