The singer has denied the allegations.
Paula Patton has accused her ex-husband Robin Thicke of physically abusing their 6-year-old son, Julian.

The shocking allegations appear in court documents obtained by Inside Edition.
“[Robin Thicke] engages in corporal punishment amounting to physical abuse, which has left Julian fearful of [his father]," the documents read.
Patton asked the court to limit visitation between the singer and their son to "monitored daytime visits only." The request was denied.
The documents allege his "dad punches him so hard, but never where someone can see." It also alleges that he even showed up "drunk" to his son's kindergarten graduation last June.
Patton claims that her son Julian told her how hard he was being hit by his father but claims he begged her not to tell anyone. But after he allegedly told someone at school that he was punched by his father, school officials called the Department of Children and Family Services.
Thicke denies all allegations of physical abuse.
"On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt," he said. "This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.”
California law allows parents to spank children as long as the spanking is done with an open hand on the buttocks and doesn't cause physical injury. But punching is unacceptable.
Thicke added that his ex is retaliating with false accusations because she was not invited to his father, Alan Thicke's funeral.

"Paula often made negative comments to me about my father. As such, she was not welcome at his funeral,” the “Blurred Lines” singer said.
Although the court ruled in his favor, Thicke is still under investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services.
