"I was a little scared, to be honest," said Sarah Moody, who said yes after her boyfriend proposed.
Being pulled over by local deputies turned out to be a wonderful surprise for a Florida couple who left the scene not with a ticket, but with an engagement.

Jason DePalma, from St. Johns County, wanted to come up with a unique way to propose to his girlfriend, Sarah Moody, whom he's known for about five years.
He decided to contact the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office to have some deputies tail his car, and pull him over as he ran a stop sign.
From a dashcam video DePalma took from his car, two deputies can be seen calling at the couple to exit the car from their intercom.
Then, as the couple stands face-to-face behind the car, they ask DePalma to get down on one knee. That's when he takes the opportunity to propose, and slips an engagement ring on her finger.
"I was completely surprised, and obviously the most wonderful surprise of my life," Moody later told InsideEdition.com. "I just couldn't understand what was going on -- why I had to get out of the car. I had no idea what was going on. I was a little scared, to be honest."
She even said she was worried her now-fiance would go to jail, and she would have to come up with the money to bail him out.
But, DePalma said, Moody wasn't the only one nervous in the situation.
"I was shaking," DePalma admitted to InsideEdition.com. "Proposing to somebody that I love and looking to spend the rest of my life with -- I was just nervous and I couldn't be happier with the way it all happened."

He said he was glad the deputies were so willing to help him with his elaborate proposal, even if they did pull him to the side after she said yes, and gave him a warning against speeding through a stop sign.
