The actress, who already had two adopted girls, says the pregnancy was a complete surprise.
Katherine Heigl is showing off her adorable baby boy on the new cover of People magazine.

The magazine, which hits newsstands Friday, displays the 38-year-old actress at her Utah home with her 37-year-old husband, musician Josh Kelley, and their two adopted daughters.
She told the magazine that her pregnancy came as a complete shock.
"It was a surprise! I knew I wanted to expand our family," she said. "I knew I wanted to have more children. I just didn’t know how we were going to go about that."

Heigl, who stars in the upcoming CBS series, Doubt, added: “Now we have a new normal, and I have to give myself a break in order to get used to it."
