The star of Madam Secretary tweeted Wednesday morning that he broke his right ankle and left knee.

He will undergo surgery Wednesday as well, according to reports.
The 60-year-old former Wings actor was skiing in Utah while attending the Sundance Film Festival. A photo taken with fans before the accident shows he was all smiles prior to the injury.
Producers of his show are deciding whether to "incorporate Daly’s injury into the plot of the program or shoot around him."

Production will not be delayed and he will appear in all episodes of the current season, according to Variety.
Prior to attending the Sundance Film Festival, Daly was spotted at the Woman’s March on Washington Saturday.
