The 24-year-old lives in Paris and is studying to become a dental surgeon.
Miss France has been crowned Miss Universe 2017 in a stunning ceremony in the Philippines.

Iris Mittenaere, a 24-year-old from Paris, is pursuing a degree in dental surgery. On Miss Universe’s website, she said she “hopes to advocate for dental and oral hygiene” if she won.
"I want to help people, I want to understand people, I want to meet people, that's why this is a dream for me,” she said in a post-pageant press conference.
It now looks like her platform and dreams are going to come true after she beat out 85 hopefuls from around the world Sunday night during the 65th edition of the pageant.
"I was very surprised I won, I feel blessed," she said in a news conference following the show. “Miss Universe was a dream — every girl wants to be Miss Universe... the stage is amazing, everything is amazing.”

Mittenaere became the second woman from France to ever take home the title. She is also the first European to win in more than a decade.
The show, hosted by Steve Harvey, went off without a hitch as the TV personality correctly announced the pageant winner — as opposed to last year's gaffe that led to widespread embarrassment around the globe.
