The commander in chief is said to use Propecia, which is used to treat male pattern baldness, like a receding hairline or thinning hair on the top of the head.

Until now, Trump’s use of a hair growth drug has never been revealed.

Trump's longtime personal physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, disclosed the information to the The New York Times, which reported that the president also takes "antibiotics to control rosacea, a common skin problem, and a statin for elevated blood cholesterol and lipids."

While his patient was on the campaign trail, Dr. Bornstein made headlines when he declared Trump "will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."

The White House has declined The Times’ request for comment about Dr. Bornstein’s admission.

For most of Trump's time in the limelight, his hair has consistently been the subject of fodder. Many have even claimed his locks are fake. However, his doctor insists the hair is all real.
