He wasn't the only famous face at the big game.
Boston native and massive New England Patriots fan Mark Wahlberg was inside NRG Stadium for Super Bowl Sunday, but missed the team’s historic come-from-behind victory.

The Departed actor had a suite inside the stadium where he and his family watched the big game, but they left early because his son was sick.
Cameras caught him leaving at the end of the third quarter while the Patriots were down nearly 20 points.
He clarified his exit in an Instagram post saying “I had to leave the game early because my youngest son wasn't feeling well. Trust me, I would have loved to be at the stadium -- but family first. Doesn't mean I don't love my Patriots too!”
Prior to Super Bowl 51, Inside Edition caught up with Wahlberg and asked if he was excited to be at the game.
"That’s an understatement," he replied.
Wahlberg took time to hang out with fans on the sidelines and FaceTimed with some as he took in the atmosphere before kick-off.
Moments after the remarkable win, Tom Brady broke down in tears as his became the first quarterback in NFL history to win five Super Bowls.
Inside Edition caught up with his wife, supermodel Giselle Bundchen, who said she was “just happy for him” as she left the stadium.
Moments after the win, Inside Edition spoke to singer John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen.
The “Lifted” singer remarked that the game was “amazing” and “incredible."
Other big names, like former New York Yankee’s third baseman Alex Rodriguez, was on hand for the game, along with Vice President Mike Pence, Anthony Anderson, Elton John, and Taraji P. Henson, who was pulling for the Atlanta Falcons.
"I’m always rooting for the underdog,” she told Inside Edition ahead of the game.

Vince Vaughn was in town for the game, as was Harry Connick Jr., who joked around with actor Jeremy Renner.
The singer told Inside Edition: “he doesn't have a ticket so he's walking in with me.”
