President Donald Trump is set to become a grandfather for the ninth time as his son, Eric, and daughter-in-law, Lara, are expecting their first child together, the couple said.

“@LaraLeaTrump & I are excited to announce that we are adding a boy to #TeamTrump in September,” Eric Trump tweeted. “It’s been an amazing year. We are blessed!”
His wife Lara, a former Inside Edition producer, retweeted her husband’s announcement, later writing: “We are thrilled to finally share the great news! #BabyTrump.”

The pair, both 33, first shared the news with People Magazine, telling the outlet that they found out they were going to be parents on Eric’s birthday.
Now in her second trimester, Lara noted she’s feeling much better than at the beginning of the pregnancy.
“It surprised me, because I'm a very active person, and until the fatigue hit, I didn't believe it would actually happen to me. It really affected me. But I'm feeling really good now,” she told the magazine.
Other members of the Trump family took to social media to congratulate the couple, who wed at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, in November 2014.

“Congratulations,” Ivanka Trump wrote on Twitter to her brother and sister-in-law. “We’re so excited for you both. You’ll be incredible parents & we cannot wait to meet our nephew!”
“Congratulations Eric & Lara,” the 70-year-old Commander-In-Chief tweeted. “Very proud and happy for the two of you!”
Donald Trump, Jr., and his wife, Vanessa Trump, have five children — Kai, 9; Donald III, 8; Tristan, 5; Spencer, 4; and Chloe, 2. Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, have three children — Arabella, 5; Joseph, 3, and 11-month-old Theodore.
