Guests to the Maryland Zoo in D.C. spotted Hydra, Apollo, Luna, Hubble, Io, Sputnik and Sirius taking their first public dip in the outdoor pool on Thursday.
The seven endangered South African penguin chicks were born between October and November last year, and they made their public debut this week with the rest of the main colony.

According to the zoo, five more baby penguins hatched a couple weeks ago and will be able to make their public debut when they are old enough.
