For two days, police have been searching for a missing 5-year-old boy.
A little boy has been missing for two days in Southern California, and investigators are now appealing to the public for help in finding the child.
Aramazd Andressian Jr. disappeared while in the custody of his father, who has the same name, authorities said. The dad was found passed out in a South Pasadena park Saturday, the same day the boy’s mother reported him missing.

The father failed to show up that morning at a prearranged meeting site to return the child to his mother. The boy’s parents are in the middle of divorce proceedings, and had been sharing custody of the child.
The mom, who was not identified by police, last saw her boy Tuesday during a Skype video call made from an undisclosed location, authorities said.
Andressian Sr. was found unconscious in Arroyo Park and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He was later charged with child abduction and endangerment. He is being held in lieu of $10 million bail, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

The father said he couldn’t remember how long his son had been missing, authorities said. He was arrested after giving contradictory statements to investigators, according to police.
Officers combed the park and surrounding areas, but found no trace of the boy. On Monday, searchers fanned out for a third day of looking for the child.
