Ex-con-turned-model Jeremy Meeks was barred from entering England and turned away at Heathrow Airport Tuesday as he arrived for a photo shoot.

Meeks, 33, who rose to fame as the “hot convict” in 2014 due to his attractive mugshot, was photographed looking upset after he was told he could not enter the country.
Meeks had flown to London for a fashion shoot, but was turned away after officials there apparently learned about his criminal history.
“I've been denied," the model said on social media as he walked through the airport. "London don't want me here. I done served my time. S*** is crazy. Don't make no sense."
"We went into the U.K. and went through immigration and they detained Jeremy," his manager, Jim Jordan, told the DailyMail.com. "He wasn't arrested but they deported him out of the country. They wouldn't let him come into the country."
The DailyMail.com obtained images of Meeks looking forlorn and dejected in Heathrow as he was about to be deported.

He was released from prison in 2016 after serving time for gun-related charges and immediately embarked on a successful modeling career. He made his runway debut at New York Fashion Week in February.
