Louisiana firefighters handcuffed an alligator last week after it was caught roaming around a house under construction in St. Tammany Parish.
In videos uploaded by the local fire department, animal officials can be seen lassoing the reptile, and eventually pulling it out of the home.
To restrain it, they duct-taped its jaws and bound its two hind legs together using two sets of handcuffs.
“That’s a big one,” one of the officers said of the reptile.

Carefully, by each taking one of the alligator’s limbs and holding its mouth shut, they were able to load the feisty reptile into the back of a pickup truck and slam the trunk as it continued to thrash around.
The St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 told InsideEdition.com that the alligator was released by the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries on the opposite side of town near a swamp — a natural habitat for its kind.
