Just ahead of her second birthday, Kate Middleton has shown off a new photo of her toddler, Princess Charlotte.

The picture was taken in April by the Duchess of Cambridge at their home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England.
In the photo, the daughter of Prince William is wearing a yellow and blue knitted sweater and has her hair parted and pulled back with a pin as she plays in a field.
The sweater is by British retailer John Lewis and is priced at just $23. It is already sold out.
The photo was released Monday by Kensington Palace on social media the day before the little girl turns 2.

Charlotte's older brother, Prince George, is 3.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is fourth in line for the throne, behind Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
