The first lady and son Barron joined their father at America's most famous address Sunday.
Melania Trump and her son, Barron, officially moved into the White House Sunday, nearly five months after her husband was inaugurated as the president of the United States.

The first lady posted a photo from inside the White House overlooking the south lawn early Monday, with both the Washington Monument and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial visible.

Donald Trump’s third wife posted the photo with the caption: “Looking forward to the memories we’ll make in our new home! #Movingday.
When Melania and Barron arrived Sunday, they stepped off Marine One with the president as they walked across the lawn and into the home.
Barron curiously checked out his surroundings of America's most famous address as Melania smiled for photographers.
Donald Trump's aides hope she will bring a breath of fresh air into the residence, where the president is described as "isolated... lonely and cheerless" without her and "lashing out at aides,” according to Politico.
“In many ways, she can limit some of that excessive, almost hyper activity that has been going on,” Katherine Sibly, Ph.D, Saint John’s University, told Inside Edition. "Many people around him would like to see him mitigated and I think she will have a salutatory role there."

Following the first lady’s arrival, her Director of Communications, Stephanie Grisham, tweeted: “It’s official! @FLOTUS & Barron have made the move to DC! #WelcomeHome.”
