A 9-year-old boy with Down syndrome has gone viral after his heartwarming version of one of Whitney Houston’s hit songs was posted online.

Dane Miller, of Texas, belted out Houston’s “I Have Nothing” while riding in the car with his dad on Monday, but his mother, Danna Miller, said it’s something her son does often.

“He’s been musical since around 2 years old,” Miller told InsideEdition.com. “He’s been playing the drums. He sings. He loves music. He puts his whole heart into everything he does.”

Miller said Dane fell in love with the song after his older brother, Dawson, introduced him to it last month.

“We watched a Whitney Houston documentary and Dawson downloaded that song,” Miller said. “He kept on playing it in the car and Dane has fallen in love with it. He has put his own touch on it.”

Dane’s aunt, Jeanne Miller, posted the video to Facebook where it’s been viewed more than 10 million times.

Danna Miller said the overwhelming response has truly touched her heart.

The Miller family didn’t know until Dane was born that he had Down syndrome, but she said his presence in their lives has been extremely special.

“He is very healthy and high functioning. He is our joy boy,” Miller said. “Our boy gives us joy every day. He's the biggest blessing and now other people get to experience it."
