Anthony Scaramucci served just 10 days as White House communications director.
Anthony Scaramucci's quick ouster as White House communications director came after Melania and Ivanka Trump were reportedly "disgusted" and "offended" by his expletive-laced interview with The New Yorker.
In the interview, Scaramucci called former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, "a f***ing paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” and also characterized Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, as a man "sucking his own c***" in regard to media attention.
"Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team," the White House said in its official statement on Scaramucci's departure. "We wish him all the best."
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed that President Trump was also upset by Scaramucci’s foul-mouthed tirade.
“The president thought his comments were inappropriate,” she said Monday.
The announcement came just hours after Kelly was sworn in as the new White House chief of staff following Reince Priebus' dismissal Friday.
Inside Edition has learned that the New York financier known as “The Mooch” got the boot at 8:00 a.m. Monday, serving just 10 days as communications director.
At the end of the tumultuous day, President Trump took to his favorite social media platform to tweet: “A great day at The White House!”
