A New Jersey woman has been charged with murder after shooting her wife in the face, authorities said.
Laura Bluestein, 28, also faces one count each of tampering with evidence and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.

She is accused of killing her same-sex partner Felicia Dormans, 29, at their Mount Holly home.
Police arrived at the house Sunday night after a relative of Dormans reported a possible assault, authorities said.
Bluestein was arrested after Dormans was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Bluestein is being held without bail at the Burlington County Jail, according to online records.

No motive has been revealed for the slaying.
The couple’s Facebook pages were full of loving, smiling photos of the pair. According to their posts, they were married last year.
