Minnesota State Police are looking for answers in the bizarre case of a motorcyclist they say has been spotted not once but twice, cruising through traffic in a panda costume.
Authorities said in a Facebook post this week that the oddball rider was first spotted on Highway 101 earlier this summer by a concerned motorist who called 911.

According to the statement, the bike exited the freeway before a trooper could locate it.
Later this summer, on Aug. 31, troopers say the same rider was observed in the costume. The driver was cited for reckless driving and the panda head was confiscated after he reportedly told them he wanted his riding videos to go “viral.”
