The Houston Texans quarterback donated approximately $27,000 to the three women who serve his meals every day.
NFL rookie Deshaun Watson wanted to make his first paycheck count when he donated the entire sum — about $27,000 — to three cafeteria workers who lost their cars or homes in Hurricane Harvey.

The Houston Texans quarterback explained in a video shared by the team that he heard a trio of cafeteria ladies working at NRG stadium was hit especially hard by the storm.
With three envelopes wrapped in red bows in hand, he surprised them in the cafeteria with the generous gift.
"For what y’all do for us every day and never complain, I really appreciate you all, so I wanted to give my first game check to y'all to help y'all out in some type of way,” Watson told the three woman. “Here you guys go."
The three women, who prepare the team's meals every day, then thanked him through tears and enveloped him in a hug.
“Hopefully that’s good to help you get back on your feet,” Watson said. “Anything else you all need, I’m always there.”

Watson donated approximately $27,000 and has a base salary of $465,000, according to The Associated Press.
Watson himself was once the subject of a generous donation when Habitat for Humanity built a house for Watson’s family when he was just 11 years old, ESPN reported.
