According to statements contained in police reports, the teen accused of murdering her mom had "reigned" down terror on her mother more than once. INSIDE EDITION reports.
The American heiress accused of murdering her mom and stuffing her body in a suitcase bullied and abused her for years, according to police records.
Sixty-three-year-old Sheila von Wiese-Mack, murdered on vacation on the island paradise of Bali, said that she was the victim of a "reign of terror" by her teenage daughter, Heather.
HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell told INSIDE EDITION, "Her mother didn't want to send her to jail. Something should have been done on a psychiatric level to deal with this child before it got to this horrific stage."
Records obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times detail the 86 calls to 911 from the suburban mansion where they lived.
On one occasion, the 19-year-old allegedly broke her mother's arm. Police records show she also locked her mom inside her bedroom, punched her with a closed fist, pushed her to the floor, and even bit her on the wrist, and threatened to beat her over the head to avoid leaving bruises.
Police advised the mom to commit Heather to a mental hospital due to "a history of violence" but she refused.
In another incident the mom complained that she had caught Heather taking topless selfies and sending sexually explicit emails.
The last 911 call was just a month before the ill-fated vacation to Bali.
Velez-Mitchell said, "This woman's decision to be compassionate, to be forgiving, to be kind to her daughter cost her her life. This was a vicious, a brutal killing."
Police in Bali have released the body of Sheila Mack to be returned to the U.S. for burial.
And doctors who examined Heather confirmed that she is indeed three months pregnant as she claimed and that her boyfriend, Tommy Schaeffer, is likely the father.
Heather shouted at reporters as she was taken back to jail from the hospital.
The daughter's attorney claims she is innocent and also says her client has been sexually assaulted since she was placed in police custody.
