The NFL has suspended Ray Rice after new video surfaced showing Rice punching out his then-fiancée. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
Shocking new released surveillance video of football star Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancée has sparked outrage.
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said, "This is a disgrace and the NFL better get their act together!"
Until now, video of Rice dragging his unconscious fiancée, Janay out of an elevator is all we've seen of the February incident.
The disturbing new video, obtained by TMZ Sports, showed for the first time just what happened inside the elevator. She slapped him right before he followed her onto the elevator at Atlantic City’s now-closed Revelle Casino. As the doors closed, he hit her. She lunged at him and he swung again and knocked her out cold.
HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell told INSIDE EDITION, "This is an outrage! It is an insult to women everywhere!"

The surveillance video then shows Janay lying unconscious as she's dragged like a rag doll out of the elevator by the Baltimore Ravens star running back. He picked up her shoe lying on the floor. Rice stood over her as a security guard entered the picture. She slowly came to, but was still woozy from the blow.
Velez-Mitchell said, "Men are walking around like she is a piece of garbage on the floor. It is disgusting! It makes me sick!"

Rice and Janay were married a month after the incident. He apologized for the attack with Janay by his side back in May.
The new video is causing uproar at NFL headquarters in New York City. Rice was originally given a two-game suspension by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and many denounced that as just a slap on the wrist. Goodell later said he made a mistake.
The NFL said in a statement: "We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator. That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today."
Twitter has exploded with outrage over the new video. Actor Seth Rogan tweeted: “I don't know much about football, but I know that Ray Rice is a piece of garbage who shouldn't be allowed to play it professionally anymore.”
Now, even the Baltimore Ravens have had enough. He's out of there. In a statement, the NFL says Rice is suspended indefinitely and will not be allowed to play for any team.
