Save My Tickets! Floating Baseball Tickets Rescued In Bay

Before the first game of the World Series, one San Francisco Giants fan almost didn't make it after her tickets blew into the Bay. Lucky for her, a Good Samaritan jumped in to fish them out. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Could one man be the nicest guy ever? Imagine jumping into the frigid waters just to save a stranger's baseball tickets.

INSIDE EDITION’s Steven Fabian spoke with Jamie Miller, who saw her dreams of watching her beloved Giants sink into the depths of San Francisco Bay.

She said, “‘No! They're my Giants tickets!”

Fabian asked, “How do the tickets end up in the water?”

She said, “I take my tickets out of my purse, I’m holding all these tickets, all of a sudden the tickets were over the edge into the water and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I have no idea how I’m going to get in the game!’”

Suddenly, an ex-Marine, Mario Morales, stepped forward. In a video, shot by his son, his buddies were cracking up, but there he went into the Bay to retrieve the floating tickets.

Did he succeed? You bet your life.

Miller said, “Chivalry is not dead. You are my hero!”

INSIDE EDITION connected Miller and Morals via Facetime.

He said, “It was just a spontaneous reaction on my part.”

Miller asked, “How you doing?”

He replied, “I'm dry.”

“Mo, you were absolutely amazing, such a Marine, such a good guy, my prince valiant,” she said.

So, what happened to the tickets?

Miller said, “He gets the tickets, he grabs the tickets, they disintegrate in his hands."

But we just got to say, this ex-Marine really hit it out of the park!
