INSIDE EDITION is learning more details about the allegations that ex-cheerleader Molly Shattuck raped a 15-year-old boy.
We're learning more about the case against former NFL cheerleader Molly Shattuck, charged with having sexual relations with a 15-year-old boy.
Shattuck used her fame as the NFL's oldest cheerleader to launch a health and lifestyle enterprise. She produces exercise videos, and earlier this year she came to INSIDE EDITION to promote her book Vibrant Living.
On INSIDE EDITION she said, "I was 20 years older than the youngest cheerleader. The average age was 21 at the time, and I was 38."
Shattuck is a well-known personality in Baltimore, where she was named a Ravens cheerleader when she turned 38. She is now 47.
The indictment charging her with third degree rape and providing alcohol to a minor was signed by none other than Joseph R. Biden III. The Vice President's son is Delaware's Attorney General.
Shattuck pled not guilty. Her lawyer spoke briefly saying, “This is a hard day. Thank you for your time.”
The teenager at the center of the scandal attends the same prep school as Shattuck's son. Shattuck allegedly initiated contact after seeing the boy's photo on Instagram. "We would have fun together," she wrote to the boy.
Shattuck allegedly invited the boy on a Labor Day weekend vacation to a rented beach house in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Her children also stayed in the house.
"Sometime around 2 a.m. Sunday morning, they drove to a liquor store and (Molly) Shattuck purchased a 12-pack of Miller Lite and a 12-pack of Bud Light for them," reads the court affidavit.
At one point, she and the boy went out to walk her dog. Allegedly, she gave him oral sex.
Shattuck was recently divorced from her wealthy CEO husband. She's denied all charges.
