A dashcam video captured the terrifying moment a plane crashed, killing more than two dozen passengers. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
There was jaw-dropping video of a plane crash in Taiwan as a car's dashboard camera caught the desperate last seconds of the flight.
When looking close at the video, the wing on the plane can be seen clipping a taxi cab. The wing also smashed into the roadway before plunging into a river. It also narrowly missed a high rise apartment building.
Just after takeoff, the pilot radioed "Mayday."
Rescuers rushed to the scene as 20 people were pulled from the wreckage alive while 26 others were killed in the crash.
This is one of the most dramatic crashes ever caught on tape, but it’s not the only one.
In December of 2013, a cargo plane took off from Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan. It climbed but then seems to stall. It crashed to the ground and exploded into a ball of fire.
Back in 1996, a tragic end to a hijacking as an Ethiopian Airlines jet crashed into the Indian Ocean, where 100 people died.
And if you ever wanted to know what it was like to be in a plane crash, the Discovery Channel recreated one for viewers. Crash test dummies could be seen being tossed around the cabin when the deliberate crash happened in the California desert. That video surely shows the terror what the passengers of that Trans-Asian flight faced.
