Following the threats the Obama family has received from ISIS, the terrorist organization has confirmed that American hostage Kayla Mueller is dead. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Now, it's personal as President Obama’s family received a shocking death threat from the ISIS madmen: “Bloody Valentine's Day Michelle Obama! We're watching you, your girls and your husband!”
The threat was made by ISIS hackers who briefly took over Newsweek magazine's Twitter account on Tuesday.
The ISIS outrage aimed at the first family came as the tragic news broke that American hostage Kayla Mueller is now confirmed dead.
ISIS claimed last week that Kayla, a 26-year-old humanitarian aid worker from Prescott, Arizona, was killed in an airstrike.
The barbaric terrorists have reportedly sent her family an email that included a picture of her body.
"We are heartbroken to share that we've received confirmation that Kayla Jean Mueller, has lost her life," the family says in a statement.
The family also released a heart-breaking letter written by brave Kayla when she was taken by ISIS in 2013: “Just the thought of you all sends me into a fit of tears. If you could say I have 'suffered' at all throughout this whole experience it is only in knowing how much suffering I have put you all through."
INSIDE EDITION spoke to forensic handwriting analyst Bart Baggett.
He commented, "Part of the handwriting that says is that she is a little depressed is the trailing of words towards the end of the page. It turns down like a wet noodle. When we see that, we know that people have lost hope, they are depressed."
Kayla's final message was this: "I know you would want me to remain strong. That is exactly what I am doing. Do not fear for me, continue to pray as will I + by God's will we will be together soon. All my everything, Kayla."
