Brett Kavanaugh’s Ex-Girlfriends Come to Supreme Court Nominee’s Defense

Two former high school girlfriends of embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh are now coming to his defense. “I was absolutely shocked, I couldn’t believe it,” Maura Fitzgerald told Fox News. “It’s just so polar opposite of the Brett Kavanaugh that I’ve known for 35 years.” She and Maura Kane both dated Kavanaugh when he was a student at Georgetown Preparatory School outside of Washington, D.C., in the 1980s.“We did drink beer, but I never saw him out of control drunk, [he] always maintained his composure,” Kane said.
