College Student Fatally Shot Over Bag of Trash: Cops

A chilling wave of murders of college students is raising concern about violence on campus. Since January, there has been an unusual surge in murders, rapes and other serious crimes on campuses. At the University of Colorado, a talented music student Sam Knopp and his girlfriend were shot dead in his dorm. In Kentucky, an 18-year-old student was found strangled to death in his dorm room.
