Google’s Top Searches of 2017 Include Hurricane Irma, Matt Lauer and Tom Petty

Google's top search of 2017 was Hurricane Irma. The superstorm slammed into the Florida coast in September. It was one of four hurricanes to hit the US this year. Number two on the list was disgraced NBC host Matt Lauer. The third most searched subject might come as a surprise to you. It's Tom Petty, the rock icon who died in October at age 66. The Super Bowl was number four and rounding out the top five was the horrific shooting in Las Vegas.
