Meghan McCain Returns to ‘The View’ 5 Weeks After Sen. John McCain’s Death

Meghan McCain returned to “The View” Monday morning after her father’s death in August. McCain was given a warm welcome as she joined her co-hosts for the first time this season and thanked the American public. “I really want to thank all of America with being so kind with my family,” she said. She took five week leave from the show after her father, former presidential contender and U.S. Sen. John McCain, died of brain cancer on Aug. 25.
