Travel Experts Share How to Save Money on Memorial Day Trips

If you’re planning to travel this Memorial Day weekend, make sure you take along some extra cash – because it’s going to be expensive. Airfare has jumped 36% from last year, and gas has gone up by 50%. But those price increases are unlikely to deter COVID-weary Americans from hitting the roads. Sixty-two percent of Americans are expected to travel this weekend, up 122% from just a year ago. The top five destinations are Orlando, Seattle, Miami, Las Vegas and Anaheim.
