Disney has even updated the iconic theme song for the new show.
They're baaack...
After nearly 25 years off the air in America, The Mickey Mouse Club has returned for a new generation.
The Mickey Mouse Club was Disney’s first TV show, and now the Mouseketeers' adventures can be seen on both the Disney Digital Network and on social media with a new cast of eight members.
The Mickey Mouse Club debuted on the radio in 1930.
In 1955, it premiered on television with original Mouseketeers like Annette Funicello. The show last appeared on U.S. TV screens in 1994, a season credited with launching the careers of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling, to name a few.
Now, as digital and social platforms rise in popularity, the new class features Regan Aliyah, Jenna Alvarez, Ky Baldwin, Gabe De Guzman, Leanne Tessa Langston, Brianna Mazzola, Sean Oliu, and Will Simmons. All of whom could become stars like their predecessors.
Each week, the music featured on the show will be available at online retailers, including their new theme song.
