Katie Holmes lit up the red carpet to promote her first movie since becoming a mom and Mrs. Tom Cruise.

Stunning in a strapless cocktail dress by Giorgio Armani, Katie cuddled with Tom at the Los Angeles premiere of her comedy, "Mad Money." 

“You know, it was a dream come true," Katie gushed about having Tom and little Suri on the Louisiana set with her.

And she only had warm words for Tom's ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, who just confirmed pregnancy rumors with the announcement that she and husband Keith Urban are expecting.  Katie tells People magazine, “I'm so happy for her. It's wonderful."

As Katie talked to reporters, our fan cam caught up with Tom signing autographs and posing for photos. Wearing an elegant velvet blazer, the star spent almost 30 minutes with thrilled admirers.

But the glamorous pair didn't stay to watch Katie’s movie. Twenty minutes after show time, INSIDE EDITION found them leaving the theater through a back exit to have dinner at Chef Wolfgang Puck's hotspot, Cut. They did not head home until after midnight.
