Sandra Bullock vs. Janine Lindemulder

Airdate: 11/4/2009
"I really feel like my character has been assassinated," says Janine Lindemulder, the mom locked in a bitter custody battle with Sandra Bullock. "She doesn't have right to custody. She's the step-mom."

Janine Lindemulder, a former porn star, says she's a good mother to 5-year-old Sunny, her daughter with Bullock's husband, Jesse James. But Bullock and James say she's unfit to raise the little girl and are seeking sole custody. Lindemulder opened up to INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret in Los Angeles.

"I think they feel I'm so damaging to my daughter that they don't want me in the picture at all," Lindemulder says.

James said he feared that his ex would expose their daughter to "pornographers, drug addicts, guns, and felons."

"I'm in the pornography business, have been for 23 years. When he married me I was in the business, when he impregnated me I was in the business, and then now all of a sudden I'm out of the picture and he picks up with Sandra, all of a sudden I'm not okay enough to have this child?" says Lindemulder.

The striking blonde's body is covered in eye-popping tattoos. Her new husband, also covered in tattoos, is an ex-con.

"The ex-wife has a lot of strikes against her. She was a porn star, she just got out of prison, she's accused of drug use...and now add to all of that, her new husband, who also has a couple of convictions, and also has served time in prison...so she has a lot to overcome with this judge," CBS legal analyst Lisa Bloom tells INSIDE EDITION.

"I know where I've made mistakes, my husband knows where he's made the mistakes, we don't want to make those mistakes again," Lindemulder says.

The porn star served six months in prison last year for tax evasion. She sent Sunny to live temporarily with her ex and Bullock. But when Lindemulder was released, the Hollywood power couple went to court to keep the child.

"Do you think Sandra Bullock knows what kind of mother you are?" asks INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret.

"I don't think she does," says Lindemulder. "What I would love is opportunity to sit down, just she and I."

Lindemulder and Jesse James were only married for one year.
