Imagine how you would feel if she were your daughter.

Recently out of rehab, she’s at a late-night party three thousand miles from home, chugging from a champagne bottle.

For Lindsay Lohan’s family, the incident is troubling. 

Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, was at his daughter’s side at New York’s JFK Airport after she returned from her now-infamous trip to Italy.

Lindsay was in Europe to receive an award at an international film festival, but her lawyer confirmed that she fell off the wagon at a New Year’s party, albeit briefly.

“I’m happy that she caught herself, not only did she catch herself, but she had people there to pick her up,” says Lohan.

Lohan himself is well aware of the dangers of drinking.  He went to jail following a drunk-driving arrest.

But Michael is now a Born Again Christian, and has some advice for his 21-year-old daughter. 

“It’s all about getting good people around you,” Michael Lohan tells INSIDE EDITION.
