She dated a snowboarder, but she was the one who fell head over heels.

Lindsay Lohan met Riley Giles while they were both in rehab in the Cirque Lodge in Utah. 

The romance that followed was so serious she took him to meet her mom.  There was even a report that Lohan and Giles were getting married.

Though Giles says the two were in love, something happened that put an end to the relationship.

It was the publication of a kiss-and-tell newspaper story.  "Lindsay quit coke and got hooked on sex with me," the article quotes Giles as saying.  "Lindsay's definitely a nymphomaniac," read another quote.

In an exclusive interview with INSIDE EDITION, although Giles admits talking to the newspaper, he denies he said those things about Lohan.

“Our sex life wasn't any different than anyone else's that's just beginning in a relationship,” Giles tells INSIDE EDITION.  “She likes to have sex and I enjoy sex too."

But the damage was done; he says Lohan was furious about the story.

24-year-old Giles thinks Lohan is serious about staying clean.  But as INSIDE EDITION continued its interview with the snowboarder from his home in Utah, he says he believes the starlet has traded one habit for another.

Giles claims that Lindsay’s new addiction is shopping.  “She's a shopaholic."
