Jennifer Aniston Talks About That "Vogue" Cover

It was Jennifer Aniston on the hot seat as Oprah Winfrey asked her about the statement she made Angelina Jolie in Vogue magazine.

Oprah asked, "What you said was, 'What Angelina did...' "

"I didn't say that exactly," interrupted Aniston, "but you know that was unfortunately so not en vogue in my opinion."

Aniston didn't deny the accuracy of the Vogue quote in which she called Angelina Jolie "really uncool," but she clearly was uncomfortable talking about it again.

"Is this out of context?" asked Oprah, and continued, "Did you say, 'What Angelina said was very uncool'?  [Is it that] You did say that, you just didn't expect it to be on the cover?"

"He asked me a question and basically I answered it as honestly as I could.  I don't go there...it's a 100 years old for Christ's sake," Aniston responded.

A report on the website PerezHilton.com claims Brad Pitt was really upset by that "uncool" quote and called Aniston to complain.

Jennifer was on Oprah promoting her new movie Marley and Me, co-starring Owen Wilson, which actually hits theaters the same day as ex-husband Brad Pitt's eagerly-awaited next film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

"Is there a little part of you that wants to beat him at the box office?" asked Winfrey.

"Oh, come on!  What am I supposed to say?  I hope that he takes the night.  That he takes the weekend.  Can we all do a tie, like we each make [the same amount]?" Aniston joked.
