The swan held up traffic down a one lane road in England for about 15 minutes.
A line of cars clogged a busy road in Leicester, England, Friday due to a swan’s sluggish waddling.
A video shows the bird walking directly in the middle of a street that passes by De Montfort University.
As the swan came to a stop, a driver is seen getting out of his car and clapping toward the bird to get it to move.
At first, the white swan swiftly complied, shuffling his feet, but then slowed down, stalling its pace again as it returned to the middle of the street.
“It looked like something out of a cartoon,” University of Leicester student, Harsh Patel, told SWNS.
Patel told SWNS that there were about 20 cars that built up on the one lane road, but he found the whole situation comical.
“The swan was still on the road after 10-15 minutes, it's a long road and it was constantly waddling around,” he said. “It was pretty funny.”
At the end of the video, the man can be seen getting back into his vehicle and angrily swerving around the swan.
“It’s like the swan was trying to be a car for the day,” Patel told SWNS. “It was just in the middle of the road looking straight.”
