Is there trouble in Kensington Palace?
Rumors of a rift between Princes William and Harry swirled after it was announced this weekend that Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are moving out of Kensington Palace's Nottingham Cottage. Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, also live on the palace's property.
But experts say there's nothing to worry about and the move is instead born of Meghan's desire to be far from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.
Dickie Arbiter, a commentator on the royal family who previously served as a press spokesman for Queen Elizabeth II, told Inside Edition the brothers are simply moving on as they grow their families.
"William and Harry are still very close," he emphasized, adding that there is no "rift."
He added that Meghan and Kate are two very different people. "I wouldn't say they're close. They barely know each other. They're not joined at the hip as friends."
Harry and Meghan will be taking up residence at Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year, according to palace officials. It's the same place where they posed for their engagement photos and held their evening wedding reception.
The two are expecting their first child together next spring.
