TV viewers got a rude awakening in Denver, Colorado, during a live morning newscast.
Reporting outdoors, news anchor Kyle Clark and weather meteorologist Kathy Sabine got into a heated exchange that was, to say the least, some of the most awkward TV moments in recent memory.
When Sabine interrupted Clark to point out the beautiful weather, she quipped, "Don't look at my like I'm crazy every time I ask you a question like that....it smells like orange blossom. What did you think I meant?"
"I smell your hairspray, mainly. I didn't want to say that, but you forced me into a corner," replied Clark.
Sabine didn't let up, saying, "Well, all the email I get is all about my hair, so, sorry. Like you don't have any product?"
Clark snapped, "Well, please don't ever touch me again."
Just when you think it couldn't get any more awkward, Sabine told Clark to do the forecast, asking him what he sees in the weather.
"Sunshine. Enjoy, Colorado....Now, where do I pick up Kathy Sabine's paycheck?" said Clark.
With April Fool's Day pranks popping up, we're not sure if this was real or a shout out to the movie Anchorman, but either way, it made for some pretty memorable TV.
